Good idea, flimsy in execution

The UKMCPRO delivery to Estonia was smooth and unfussy. Happy with the service - the rating is for the product. The tactical rotating D-ring was less than impressive. In theory it is a really good idea: being able to add anchor points for quick attachments to my body armour or molle webbing should work well. Anyone who wears body armour knows it can be tough to attach things to it, that is why items like this are developed, however, the plastic used in the manufacture of these D-rings is brittle and fragile. I bought 2 and 1 pretty much snapped the second I attached anything to it. The second has now been consigned to a shelf where it will likely soon be forgotten. Once on molle strapping, the D-ring base is secure, but the hinge is so weak. Bulldog Tactical should state precisely what they mean when they say "secure point of attachment for light items". What is "light"? A helmet clearly does not qualify as light.
