Velcro belts have become popular with military, police and professionals for a long time now and because of a very simple reason; They are quick and easy to remove. This means that when you do not need to wear your belt rig you can remove it, knowing that if needed again you can have it back on in seconds. You can even wear it over the top of another combat or tactical belt due to the lack of a buckle. Rigid enough to hold holsters, pouches or other types of tool holders. Over the years we at UKMC have sold many of these belts to professional users with nothing but good feedback. You can rest assured that they have been extensively field tested and will not let you down.

I brought the same sort of belt while on tour in Afghanistan, I found it to be comfortable and hard wearing. I realised it was perfect for going through airport security as I has no metal parts and won't set off the metal detectors so you don't need to take your belt off as you pass through. It saves time and it also saves unessercery messing about.. I just brought my second one and I would recommend them to everybody.
Excellent replacement for the belt I usual used to hold my trousers up while wearing webbing, don’t get any chaffing on my hips now, don’t know if it’ll hold a pistol holster up yet, sure I’ll find out soon find ou
Bulldog hook and loop tactical belt 1.5"
I don't believe this is nylon, it looks and feels much more like polyester to me... which makes it over-priced to my way of thinking. This is definitely not a gun belt, it's for holding up your trousers and that it does fine and because it's thin and flexible it is comfortable. The quality of materials and stitching are adequate to the task of a belt to hold up your trousers but nothing special. I wear it with the overlap/Velcro on my right side and it's very comfortable like that, you could also maybe get away with a holster there if you do it that way since the double thickness plus Velcro makes it bit less flexible. It is what it is, I would recommend it bearing in mind it's not a pistol belt. I would buy again although I think you should get two for this price given what it is.
Bulldog Hook & Loop Tactical Belt 1.5 Inch
Would give zero stars if possible. As just a belt, it's very average. As a tactical belt that is meant to support other equipment, it's flimsy rubbish. I guess you get what you pay for. If you want a sturdy belt able to properly support other tactical equipment - look elsewhere and expect to pay more.
Hi Derek, Sorry to hear that you are not happy with the quality of this belt, we have a 60 day return policy so you are welcome to return it for a refund if you like. We have sold 100s of these belts over the years we have been stocking it. We find that quality has not been an issue previously and it is as expected by our professional customers. It is a semi-rigid belt that can have pouches and other gear mounted onto it but it does depend on the weight you are carrying. Maybe a belt made from webbing could be more appropriate to your needs. Best regards.
